You can book your driving test slots by visiting the official website of JPJ.
In Malaysia, driving test includes slope test, 3-point turn, reverse parking, parallel parking and driving on the open road.
After registration is done with Driving school, the candidate must undergo a 5- hour course, Drivers Education Curriculum Course (KPP01).
The Validity period of the Learners’ driving Licence is 2 years.
You will get your Competent Driving Licence (CDL) once you complete the 2-year probationary period.
People with colour blindness are not eligible to get a driving licence.
The handbook comprises topics on Traffic rules, regulations, and subjective understanding of driving on road.
The JPJ driving test comprises of 2 sections. One section is the examination for colour blindness and the other section is the Highway Code Exam which consists of 50 multiple choice questions.
The candidate must get over 84% in the JPJ test. Once the Malaysia Driving Test
is passed, the candidate can proceed to the next step.
